Thanks for the well wishes. I actually have to say I have been to two different grief series of classes, and they have helped. I have also read the Elisabeth Kubler-Ross book. I had actually finished one of her other books the day Michael died. Very weird how that one worked out.

The best thing that I have done for myself was to move back to Houston. I have a social network that is wonderful. I am also starting the conversion to judism, which also I think is helpful to me.

His parents and I are still very close. It is amusing now, because his mom is telling me I need to start dating now. I love her to pieces. While I may not quite be ready for that, I think it is very endearing of her to be giving me that blessing to move on with my life.

Words can't express how very sorry I am for what you've lost. Your love for each other comes through so clearly.

I read two great books recently about bereavement. One was "A Grief Observed" by C.S. Lewis, and the other was "On Grief and Grieving" by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. You might find them helpful or comforting if you are in need.

What a year you've been through. I am so sorry, and I am holding you in my thoughts.
